‘It should have been double figures’ says Crosbie after March Town United smash Long Melford

MARCH Town United hammered Long Melford 4-0 on Saturday - but boss Paul Crosbie felt it could have been double figures.
The wintry weather played havoc with the Hares’ fixture list last month but the postponements seemed to have refreshed Crosbie’s side.
Lewis Thompson celebrated his return from injury with a brace, while Danny Emmington continued his impressive form with another double.
Crosbie said: “We created a dozen chances first half alone. We were solid but there is plenty of scope to improve.
“It should have been double figures.”
The away win was March’s third victory in their last four Thurlow Nunn First Division games.
The Hares, who travel to Great Yarmouth Town in the First Division Knockout Cup on Saturday, sit 12th in the league.
