Outwell stock car racer Jacob Downey warmed up for the British Championships with an impressive showing in Skegness.

The 19-year-old won one race and came third in another in the 2-Litre Saloon Stock Cars meeting at the weekend.

With the British Championships in Cowdenbeath, Scotland, just two weeks away, Downey has hit top form at the perfect time.

He said: “It was a really good weekend. The car is going well at the moment. Now the target is a top 10 finish at the British Championships.”
