Walpole St Andrew runner Matt Pyatt ran a personal best in the London Marathon.
The 36-year-old finished 166th out of more than 35,000 competitors in two hours 39.01 minutes.
His time is quick enough to get a championship entry place for the next two London marathons.
Four Thorney Running Club members also took part in the marathon.
First home was Richard Coles in four hours 01.28 minutes followed by Andy Harding (4:18:04), Megan Silvester (4:48:46) and Ian Davies (5:12:48).
Fenland Running Club member Justin Showell ran in the Northampton Running Festival Half Marathon.
He finished in one hour 39.41 minutes and was third in vet-40 age category.
