Jordan Gill knocked out his opponent in 36 seconds in Sheffield on Saturday.
The Chatteris boxer delivered a ferocious shot which sent Aaron Flinn sprawling to the canvas.
The 19-year-old wowed 8,000 spectators and made promoters take notice with his devastating performance.
Gill, who extended his perfect professional record to eight wins, said he instantly felt at home in front of the large crowd.
He said: “It was incredible. I was 100 per cent relaxed before the fight, not an ounce of nerves.
“I came out to Get Down On It by Kool in the Gang and there were 8,000 people stood on their seats dancing along.
“It’s my first knock out and everyone was ecstatic. I’m very pleased with my performance. It’s the first time I’ve been let loose on someone.
“It would have been nice if it went a bit longer but the fight deserved a knock out and I was due one. I always deliver.”
Gill’s knock out created a buzz both in the stands and backstage at the arena, where major promoters were watching.
He said: “Some people had never seen me fight before but afterwards they came up to me and said it was amazing.
“Loads of people are jumping on the Team Gill bandwagon. My support is growing with every fight.
“I’ve been nicknamed the fresh prince of Fenland.”
Gill, who hopes to step back in the ring before Christmas, says he is only just starting to show his potential and the best is yet to come.
He said: “I’ve got a lot more to show yet. A lot of people have not seen what I’m capable of. It will take a few years before I reach my potential but I’m going to keep progressing and working hard in the gym.”
Gill paid tribute to his hoards of travelling fans who made the trip from Chatteris to cheer him on.
He said: “I’d like to thank all the fans who made the long journey from Chatteris and my sponsors Jordan Fitness and Connett Cable.”
