Doddington Carnival and Sports Day returns to the village on Saturday

Head to Doddington this weekend and celebrate 30 years of carnival with a ‘back to the 1980s’ theme.

A procession, led by the carnival prince Miles Whittaker and princess Hannah Storey, will make its way through the high street from 9.30am onwards before the sports afternoon begins at 1.30pm in Doddington Recreation Field.

Entry costs £1 per adult and is free for children.

The road will be closed from 9.30am till 12.30pm.
