“We do social media relentlessly, every single day. Apart from the music, that’s the biggest thing. That’s how you get your name out there.”

Meet Judas, a four-piece London rock band propelling themselves into the public spotlight, joined by drummer and former Wisbech Grammar School pupil, Sam Horvath.

For onlookers it is no surprise that 20 year old Sam plays in a rising band - during his school years in the Fens it was always clear he was going to make it in the music business.

However, when you hear the name ‘Judas’, what doesn’t immediately spring to mind is four faces with a fresh outlook.

But with the power of online marketing, perhaps by next year, it will be.

Boasting originality, energy and more hair than a barbershop floor, Judas look and sound the part to overwhelm the music scene in the coming years.

Stressing the importance of “gradually growing as a band”, they say overnight fame is not what they are looking for, aiming instead to use the power of the internet to gradually bring themselves to what is bound to be international attention.

Finding bands which bring something new to the table is increasingly difficult with the never-ending stream of nameless faces entering the industry, but something has set these guys apart.

Whether it is their unfailing solidity as a band whose on-stage presence is enhanced only by the obvious joy they have at playing together, or their ceaseless online marketing, Judas have already been compared to some of the biggest names in the business.

Placed alongside bands including U2 and Kings of Leon, it seems the world will be waiting to feast on their talent, and the boys are already eating their hearts out.

Only two years into their career together, Judas have captivated multiple audiences at several London venues, a UK-wide tour, and at some of the country’s most iconic music festivals.

This includes a two-time appearance at Reading and Leeds festival in 2016 and 2017; the first being a last-minute request which placed them in the main stage spotlight following their performance at the Isle of Wight.

The foursome have accrued themselves loyal fans in and out their London base and a powerful first EP album.

Whilst rocketing through the first two years of their career, accomplishing more than many start-ups manage in such time, it is still not on the scale they aim to be amassing.

The boys, scouted within their first year together, commented: “It’s all about word of mouth, constant Facebook updates, always putting your name where it can be seen”.
