An autumn trail is being weaved around the grounds of Peckover House in Wisbech for children to follow in half term.

Snoddlesworth the snail will be leaving the trail with a series of clues around the National trust property, each clue leading to the next.

At the end of the trail there will be a specially baked autumn biscuit in the Reed Barn as a prize.

Diane Smith, trail organiser, said: “We wanted to make the half term trail a little different this time, so I really hope families will enjoy solving the clues together whilst exploring the garden.

“There will be extra activities too this year, such as the build your own monster session in the Reed Barn on Wednesday October 24.”

The autumn snail trail can be enjoyed in the garden from Saturday 20 to Sunday October 28, from 11am to 4pm. It costs £1 per child plus normal entrance for non National Trust members.

The house and garden will be open every day during half term.
