A nature reserve is offering visitors the chance to listen to Fenland’s finest poets while sipping Pimm’s on Friday, June 13.

Fenland Poet Laureate Poppy Kleiser and Poetry Society award winner Emma Danes, as well as former Fenland Poet Laureates Elaine Ewart and Leanne Moden, will perform at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre at Welney against the beautiful backdrop of the Ouse Washes.

A free glass of Pimm’s will be given to every visitor on arrival and other refreshments will be available to buy during breaks in the event.

The free event runs from 6-8pm, although booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
