Three talented musicians will take to the stage at The Junction in Cambridge on Saturday, May 3.

Cornish singer-songwriter Ruarri Joseph, who has been described in The Times as “one of our best songwriters and lyricists”, is noted for his inventive fusion of blues, rock and soul.

Inspired by Bob Dylan, his work has also earned him favourable comparisons to the sounds of Damian Rice and David Gray.

Prolific singer-songwriter Fiona Bevan has written songs for film, classical compositions and even co-written chart-topping hits with Ed Sheeran for One Direction.

The Guardian, reviewing her concert, said “Bevan took us on startling odysseys that suggested Erykah Badu, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush spine-tinglingly joined”.

Last year, she performed live in Cambridge in support of Nick Mulvey and Gwyneth Herbert.

The line up is completed by Gil Karpas, who delivers funky, upbeat original material, graced with a powerful soulful voice and a sensitive lyricism.
