An award winning comedian and storyteller is bringing a show to Cambridge about her journey through feminism.

Rosie Wilby: Nineties Woman will see Rosie trace her former colleagues from Matrix, a feminist newspaper she worked on when studying in the early 90s at York University.

The show, which takes place at the Cambridge Junction on May 30, has live interactive storytelling interspersed with video interviews, music and photo archive to trace a journey through early 90s feminism, refracted through a very personal lens.

In 2013 Rosie discovered long treasured 20 year-old dusty copies of Matrix in her parents’ attic and decided to set about tracing some of the women she’d not quite connected with at the time including fellow comedian Zoe Lyons, who had also been very fleetingly involved, to see what they were doing now and how their perceptions of feminism had shifted.

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £9 (prices include a £1 booking fee) and are available from the box office: 01223 511 511 or at www.junction.co.uk
