A care home resident's wish came true when one of her snooker heroes came to visit.
Audrey, who lives at Askham Village Community in Doddington, was able to meet and chat with Joe Perry thanks to the home's activities team.
After reaching out, he replied and said he would be really happy to visit Askham.
"Last Friday was a very special day for Audrey," said a member of the care home team.
"She managed to meet and speak with Joe and, from what could be seen, she was not the only one impressed by this visit."
