A man has received a police caution for shooting dead a Greylag goose.
Police say it was called on Saturday (March 23) at around 8am to reports the bird had been shot in Mereside, Soham.
It had been shot with an air rifle.
Officers from the Rural Crime Action Team launched an investigation and a 54-year-old man was later handed a police caution for the killing of a wild bird.
