STUDENTS from Neale-Wade Community College, March, raised more than £200 for Block Fen Animal Centre during National RSPCA week.

The fund-raisers held a cake stall and sold RSPCA merchandise to collect £210 for the centre, which relies entirely on public donations.

Kirstyn Gaunt, deputy manager at Block Fen, said she was “astounded by the students’ generosity”.
