I WOULD like to thank all those society members who cast their vote in the run-up to our annual meeting. It resulted in two regional charities receiving £4,000 between them.

For every vote cast, N&P pledged 10p to the charity fund and 20p for all on-line returns.

The beneficiaries are East Anglia's Children's Hospices, which will receive £3,500, with Peterborough Environment City Trust picking up a cheque for £500.
