March 1220 Squadron celebrate after cadets clock up countless hours of volunteering

PUBLISHED: 12:48 14 July 2011

CADETS from March 1220 Squadron have been presented with certificates to recognise the hundreds of hours they have spent volunteering.

Their efforts were part of the Vinvolved Project, which is a national youth volunteering programme aimed at young people aged between 16-25.

A number of March cadets got their awards for clocking up 50 hours of voluntary work in their communities. Those who came close to the target were also thanked for their efforts.

The Vinvolved Project has now closed due to funding cuts - but March 1220 Squadron have announced their determination to continue to support their community.
