MEMBERS of March Rotary Club had a five-star holiday last month with their twin club in Germany.

The National Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany, Der Deutscher Bundestag, was the higlight of their long weekend in Berlin as members met their German counterparts from Halle, Westphalia.

Robert Freeman, March Rotary Club spokesman, said: “With a river cruise, visit to a theatrical revue, tour of the Bundestag, pleasant company with the Halle hosts, staying in a luxury five-star hotel and shopping for the ladies, the trip was over all too soon.”

Next year, Halle will be touring the Olympic Stadium as part of their visit to Britain.
