A 10-year-old Glebelands pupil is celebrating Christmas early after her traditional snowman design won a competition.

Cleo Bailey was crowned the winner of Ellis Winters & Co’s annual ‘design a Christmas card’ competition and was presented with six copies of the card she designed.

Her snowman design was selected from hundreds of entries by primary school children from Glebelands and Kingsfield in Chatteris and Westwood in March.

Director Sue Davies said: “We’re over the moon with our cards this year and would like to thank Cleo and all of the other local children who took part.

“They worked really hard and we had great fun judging the entries.”
