A605 in Whittlesey to close again - this time for railway crossing repairs

THE A605 in Whittlesey will be closed for the third consecutive weekend - this time for repairs to Kings Dyke railway crossing.

Network Rail is closing the road from 10pm Saturday until 7am Sunday to carry out essential work. Diversions will be in place via the B1040 to Pondersbridge and the B1095.

For the last two weekends Anglian Water has closed the road to repair mains. Two weeks ago the road was closed for most of Saturday and Sunday and last week the road was closed on Sunday evening.
