Footpath from Neale-Wade Academy, March, towards Wimblington, set for £90,000 of improvements

Work costing £90,000 begins next week to improve and repair a footpath on the eastern side of Wimblington Road, March.
The stretch, between Neale-Wade Academy and the start of the 40mph speed limit entering the town, includes resurfacing and repair of some stretches, widening where possible.
The layout will also be changed and improvements to access for people with disabilities.
A Cambridgeshire County Council spokesman said: “Work starts on Monday to tie in with school holidays and is expected to take about 25 days at a cost of £90,000.
“Access to properties will be maintained at all times, but some disruption to vehicles is inevitable, but delays will be kept to a minimum.”
