FUNDRAISERS handed over a 1,425 cheque to Upwell Health Centre at their group’s annual meeting.
The cash raised by Three Holes Acorn Club was presented to Sister Becky Wilding to go towards the work of palliative care nurses. The cheque was presented at the meeting last Wednesday.
Special thanks was given to Arthur Cuss and Ian Ferris for their work on charity fundraising.
The club, which meets in Three Holes Village Hall, also held a short silence at the event following Joy Garwood’s death at Christmas.
The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7pm.
