A 20-year-old man will appear in court today charged with causing the death of Fordham’s Anthony Pinney.
Mr Pinney, 68, of Isleham Road, suffered fatal injuries when the Honda 125cc motorbike he was riding was in collision with a black Fiat Punto on August 4 last year at the A142 junction with Northfield Road, Soham.
Mr Pinney’s, a retired painter and decorator, was descried by his family as “a very keen fisherman and photographer”.
They added: “He was a quiet man who enjoyed photographing wildlife and spending time with his children and grandson.”
Today (Friday), Conor Gosling, 20, of Beauchamp Close, Eaton Socon, will appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
