MY colleague John Elworthy is to compere the 3rd annual musical evening at Queen Mary Centre, Wisbech, on October 13 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
A worthy cause, and recommended by Brakespeare who was intrigued to learn of an auction being held in the interval. The main item to be auctioned will be the opportunity to conduct the band in the second half!
