PREVIEWS of fashions for the autumn of 1956 were featured in two mannequin parades staged by Armstrong's (Wisbech) Ltd.
A range of clothes from nightwear to fur coats were modelled in the shows for which the compere was Kay Turner.
Shoes were supplied by Gibbs of Wisbech and stockings by Martyn Fisher.
The show ended with nightwear with a difference. There were frothy nylon and lace creations and gay shortie pyjamas, which the organisers claimed would be the pride of any girl.
