THE fifth Doddington Country Show was held at Washbrooke Farm last weekend and was enjoyed by even more people than before.
Vintage tractors and classic cars were on show, along with motor cycles, commercial vehicles, stationary engines and steam engines.
There was a craft tent and a beer tent, side stalls and food was available. On Saturday and Sunday, a dog agility course was set up and this helped raise money for a guide dog.
Mick Shreeve, one of the organisers, said the event was well supported and that it is getting bigger and better. "Everyone enjoyed themselves and most of the trade stands said they will be back next year", he said. "We thank John Welcher for the loan of the field which makes this event possible for the people of Doddington.
