MAY I, through your paper, say a tremendous thank you to all in this area who responded to our ëFeed the Childrení campaign?
So many people have been busily knitting that wool must be in short supply in this area.
We have received items from March, Peterborough, Wisbech and all the surrounding Fenland villages. We have collected 702 jerseys, 54 cot blankets, five single-bed blankets, and our coffee morning towards transport raised £272-12p.
The jerseys will soon be on their way, and will help to keep the children warm at night, and to save lives.
All your efforts are really appreciated.
