SUPPORT from a major community initiative - the Fenland Links Pathfinder Project- has given a boost to village life.
A presentation meeting was held by Christchurch Parish Council in The Memorial Hall by Councillor Jill Tuck, chairman of Fenland Links, who presented a number of items to local groups.
They included a display board for the WI and new crockery and tables for the Memorial Hall financed by a community grant provided by Fenland Links.
Similar community grants have been given to the parishes of Elm, Parson Drove, Wisbech St Mary and to groups working in the Waterlees area of Wisbech. The grants were made available to the communities to use to meet priorities within their parish plans and to support the delivery of the Fenland Links programme.
