Pupils from Neale-Wade Community College held their traditional remembrance assembly on Friday with 52 representatives from many service organisations taking part.
The assembly was led by the principal, Tim Hitch, with students providing special readings or offering musical tributes.
Jim Doherty, the chairman of the governors, was among those who laid wreaths and rolls of honour were read to the assembly.
Mr Hitch said the school remained one of a handful to still hold an annual remembrance assembly.
"It generates a positive feeling in the school and focuses people on the Remembrance weekend," he said.
"It remains important we educate current generations about how past generations have suffered.
