The Fenland Wildflowers Association launched a film The First 50 Years in the gardens of the East Lighthouse, Sutton Bridge, the home of vice-president David Joel.
Eighty members and guests were present, including four founder-members, Ray Butt, who travelled down from Dumfries, Mac Narborough, Mike Newell and Jack Carnell.
Chairman Paul Evans introduced the film and welcome the guests. A bar and buffet and good weather made it a memorable occasion.
Fenland's president Mr Narborough thanked Commander David Joel for his hospitality and congratulated Martin and James Warby on producing such a wonderful film.
