ZION Baptist Church members from Wisbech celebrated the centenary of the Victoria Road church in May, 1956.
There were four different speakers, several visiting pastors and large numbers of visitors at the services.
One speaker said the day was a milestone where they could look back on the hill they had climbed.
A family named Culy were mainly responsible for the founding of the church, which was a Calvinistic building.
For some years in the late 1800s, Hill Street Baptist Church used the building as a mission church but they later built a place of their own.
