POLICE in Whittlesey are urging people to be vigilant following a charity scam.
Scammers have been distributing flyers around the town, claiming to be collecting on behalf of the East Anglian Air Ambulance, however this is not the case. The flyers, which are on blue A5 paper with blue text, are nothing to do with the charity.
PCSO Jo Lester said: "These flyers are a scam and nothing to do with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
"If you have been approached by these scammers and have not yet been in touch with the police I would urge you to do so."
