The horse section saw classes for the best in-hand and ridden horse in two categories, small horses and large horses, and there were novelty classes, which included the longest name, longest tail and longest eye lashes.
Winners of the classes were given rosettes and prize money, with the best in hand and ridden horses also presented with sashes.
A total of 68 dogs were entered into various categories in the dog section, with classes including best veteran, best junior handler, dog to go home with the judge, best fancy dressed dog and handler, waggiest tail and best rescued or rehomed dog. The top four judged dogs were presented with rosettes and tins of dog food, with the fifth-placed entrant receiving dog food.
