Year 7 students at Cromwell Community College in Chatteris have been busy building their own castles made out of cake.
Students were given three weeks to create a castle for their homework.
First place went to Billie, joint second to Ruby and Leoni. Third place was awarded to Julia.
They have all been on display in the school library – where the certificates were presented by the judges.
The competition was judged by humanities teachers and vice principal Andrew Hunter.
Jackie Harding, learning resource centre manager, said: “The standard of the models were outstanding.
“All cake castle creations were consumed in the classroom by Year 7.”
