A team of Year 9 reporters at Cromwell Community College were visited by a regional BBC journalist on Friday.
Patrick Davies, assistant editor of BBC Look East, helped students to plan their news items ahead of their school report day on March 16.
Mrs Priest, an English and media teacher at the school, will lead the event next week.
