Children from schools across Fenland visited Cromwell Community College in Chatteris for World Heart Day.
Groups of Year 6 children - 31 from Lionel Walden Primary School and 13 from Benwick Primary School - visited the laboratories last Thursday.
After a school tour, they were split into two groups to learn about the history of medicine and heart dissection,
The children then designed clay hearts in the art department before finishing the day with heart-related exercises in the Sports Hall.
