The people of Chatteris turned out in force to honour the men and women who have died during conflict for the annual remembrance Sunday parade.
Local organisations joined forces in a show of strength for the parade that weaved its way though the streets to St Paul’s and St Peter’s Church for a service honouring the fallen.
A Royal British Legion spokesman said; “Great Britain still believes strongly in remembering those who fought not only in World Wars, but the more than 12,000 British Servicemen and women killed or injured since 1945.”
They added that the Poppy Appeal raised vital funds for service people and their families.
