An air ambulance medical team attended when a child at Chatteris suffered a fit.
Magpas Helimedix doctor Jon Birks and paramedic Kier Rutherford arrived at a residential address in Chatteris, using the Magpas Rapid Response BMW, after a young boy suffered a seizure at about 7.45pm on Saturday (August 2).
The Magpas team administered medication and fluid and the patient’s condition improved.
The Helimedix team then accompanied the boy in a land ambulance to Hinchingbrooke Hospital On arrival at the hospital, the child was in a stable condition. His family were at his side.
An EEAST Ambulance Crew and EEAST Ambulance Officer were also present.
