Villagers are being invited to a public meeting to gauge opinion on a new housing estate.
Sixty two homes are proposed on a site behind Lionel Walden School in Doddington.
The public meeting will be held next Wednesday at 7pm in the Methodist Church by the clock tower.
Prior to the meeting villagers will be able to look at the plans and ask questions of the architect.
Local councillor Dave Connor says he remains open minded about the houses until villagers have expressed their opinion.
