MARCH Conservative Club was decorated with flags and bunting as members celebrated St George’s Day by holding a dinner with a difference.
They tucked into a roast lamb dinner while watching clips from some of Britain’s best TV comedies, including Only Fools and Horses and Fawlty Towers.
Memebers also took part in their tribute to the generation game and enjoyed a rousing singsong to the Last Night at the Proms.
Following the meal, club chairman Stephen Bradshaw made a presentation to David Clarke, who served on the committee for many years until his retirement last year.
