SNOOKER star Joe Perry warmed up for the World Championship against fellow stars Gerard Greene and Neil Robertson this week - but on Wednesday he took on a more humble opponent.
The world number 26 did battle with Cambs Times reporter Rob Setchell in a frame at his parents’ home in Chatteris.
Cheered on by his five-year-old daughter Lexie, the Fen Potter strutted his stuff on a practice table once used during the 2003 World Championship.
But he also talked about the prospect of another appearance at the Crucible, his snooker rivals and the ups and downs of his 20 years as a professional.
