NURSERY children at Burrowmoor Primary School enjoyed a ‘Wriggly Workshop’ when the were treated to a visit from some exotic animals.
ZooLab staff brought in Chrissy the giant millipede, Sophie the rose tarantula, Patrick the corn snake, Woody the Madagascan hissing cockroach, SpongeBob the tree frog, Kevin the giant African land snail and Ribena the rat.
Youngsters held the animals while being taught about their behaviours and how to care for them.
They also enjoyed moving around like the animals as they created a class millipede, curled up like snails and slithered like a snake.
