PUPILS enjoy some of the 300 new books which arrived at Burrowmoor Primary School just before Christmas.
Purchase of the new books was made possible by the March school holding book fairs and using the Puffin Book Club, where children buy books.
Most of the new fiction is for the school’s accelerated reader programme, designed to encourage steady reading improvement based on individual tailored needs.
Audrey Morton, the school’s librarian, said: “The library has never been so busy!”
