A GROUP of men will appear before magistrates tomorrow charged with assaulting a police officer and his dog in Whittlesey.
Gerald Bowles, 51, of Haddon Way, Whittlesey, and Carl Hodges, 42, of Eastrea Road, Whittlesey, have been charged with affray in connection with the assault on the officer.
They, along with, Michael Snitch, 42, of Station Road, Whittlesey, Nigel Cooke, 45, of Glebe Road, Peterborough, are also charged with affray in connection with a separate incident.
Stewart Nicholson, 26, of Stonald Avenue, Whittlesey, is charged with affray regarding the assault on the police officer.
The five men will appear Peterborough Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
