PUPILS in the final year at Benwick Primary School were presented with books from two members of the Chatteris Rotary Club.

Gerald Day and Roger Peacock gave each student an illustrated copy of the book, Dictionary 4 Life. The publications were sponsored by the National Express charity panel.

Individual shields were awarded to Emma Tyler and Jack Edwards who had been selected as the two pupils that had contributed most to the social well-being of the school. Their names were engraved onto the school shield in recognition of their achievements.

Similar presentations have been made by Chatteris Rotarians to final year students around the area, all of whom have received the same book.
