Railpen would like to invite you to a public exhibition and digital consultation on its proposals for 230 Newmarket Road on Cambridge Retail Park.

The public exhibition will be held at City Church Cambridge, Cambridge CB5 8LD, on two days, November 8 and 10 (2.30-5.30pm) and an online webinar consultation will take place on November 9 at 6pm.

The Railways Pension Scheme (Railpen) is one of the UK’s largest and longest established pension funds. They are also responsible investors with respect for the environment, with social responsibility and good governance being a key part of its DNA.

A spokesman said: “Our proposals for 230 Newmarket Road would create a mixed use development that, strengthens the retail offer at Cambridge Retail Park, improves the connectivity and relationship between Cambridge Retail Park and Newmarket Road, delivers best in class sustainable buildings, creates a better experience for pedestrians and cyclists, and increases green and public usable spaces.

“We are keen to hear the local community’s feedback on our proposals to redevelop an important site in Cambridge.”
