The Chatteris Christmas lights switch-on is upon the town and the event is set to be another success as with every year. 

From 3.00pm on Saturday, November 26, the town centre will be lined with festive stalls and local traders, food trucks, refreshments, entertainment and fairground rides from the old Police Station to the Post Office. 

The Salvation Army is holding a Christmas Fayre selling presents and decorations. 

The Variante Ensemble will play seasonal music in front of St Peters Church. 

And for children eager get on the good list, Santa will set up his Grotto so look out for the sign at Evolve opposite the Bandstand Gardens. 

The switch will be flipped on the night of Saturday, November 26, at 4.30pm and this year a very lucky child from Glebelands Primary Academy will get to join Santa in turning the lights on. 

The Chatteris Christmas Lights Committee is always looking for new volunteers, donors and fund raisers.
