This year's Chatteris Christmas lights switch-on event has been hailed as a huge success.
On Saturday, November 26, residents of the town filled the market town’s streets for the big switch-on which took place at 4pm.
The High Street was filled with stalls, fairground attractions, including classics such as hook-a-duck and shooting galleries stocked with toys.
Food trucks and local establishments served refreshments to a hungry audience throughout the night.
The Christmas Lights committee were out and about to do some fundraising for next year's event to get a head start.
The switch flipped, with some difficulty, with a few big hard pushes from the lucky girl from Glebelands Primary Academy and Santa Clause at 4.30pm.
The Chatteris Christmas Lights committee is always looking for new volunteers, donors and fund raisers.
