The organisers of the Fenland Busfest have released details of the 2023 event.

Busfest is organised by the Eastern Bus Enthusiasts (EBE) and will start off at Market Street, in Whittlesey, and travel around the Fens.

Nick Larkin, from the EBE, said: "We are delighted to be bringing BusFest to Fenland once again and hope everyone enjoys riding on the buses and coaches.

"The idea is to provide a great day out and promote bus and coach preservation in Cambridgeshire.

This year's Busfest will take place on Sunday, May 21, from 10am till 5pm.

There will be free classic bus rides all day from Market Place, Whittlesey, to Peterborough, Yaxley, March, Turves and Thorney.

Around 30 buses and coaches will be present, including open-top vehicles.

Buses will also be running regularly to the Ramsey Rural Museum for the Ramsey Fen Fair and Ramsey Classic Vehicle Show, which has some 200 exhibits.
