A neglected dog who has waited two years to find a loving home finally has his happy ever after.

Thor had been in the care of RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre, however the charity could not look for his new family until the neglect case had been resolved.

However, once resolved, it didn't take him long to get snatched up by his new mum and dad.

Cambs Times: Thor walked out of the RSPCA Block Fen doors for the final time and said his goodbyes to animal care assistant Heidi, who was his rock throughout his stay. At the weekend, the team at Block Fen said a “fond farewell to Thor.

“After a long two-year wait in kennels, he finally got his happy ever after.

“Happy endings likes these make everything we do worthwhile.

“Good luck Thor - it's happy days ahead for you!”
