Planning is well under way for this year's Heritage Open Days in March which take place in September.

The event is organised by volunteers to celebrate the area's rich community heritage, and are free of charge.

Places which would normally charge entry are free, and where there is normally no entrance fee, there will be special activities, displays, tours, walks and talks.

This year the theme is 'creativity unwrapped and organisers say they hope people will be inspired to be creative with their photos, poems, artwork, craftwork, and stories and share them with The March Society and Heritage Open Days.
