Fire crews were called to a tree blaze that was spreading to a derelict building in Doddington last night (Monday August 21).
Crews from March, Ramsey and Manea were called to the blaze on Dykemoor Drove at 6.01pm.
Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the open involving trees that was quickly spreading to a derelict building.
Wearing breathing apparatus, they extinguished the fire using hose reels and a jet.
They returned to their stations by 9pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
